Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were robbed in Beaumont Leys.

The incident happened at around 8pm on Saturday, March 29 in Home Farm Court when the two victims, both 18-years-old, were threatened with a knife and had their mobile phones stolen.

The suspect then walked the victims onto Tilling Road and Strasbourg Drive. No-one was injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as white, between 5'5" and 5'7" tall, in his 20s or 30s and of slim build. He was clean shaven and had a tattoo on the inside of his left forearm in Chinese or Japanese writing. He was wearing a black woollen hat, a black Nike jacket, blue faded jeans and white Nike trainers.

PC Dave Wadsworth from Beaumont Leys local policing unit said: "Prior to robbery the suspect and the victims had travelled on the number 54 First bus which left the Haymarket Bus Station at 7.50pm.

"We know there were a number of other people on the bus at the time and we would like to hear from them. Any information could help us with our enquiries.

"We also want to hear from anyone who recognises the description of the suspect."
