New work starting this week:

Hamilton Way: cabling. Temporary signals as required on Sunday (27th). Second of two Sunday closures.

St Georges Way: work on street lighting. Lane closures as required from Fox Street to Campbell Street on Sunday (27th).

Brandon Street: pavement improvements. Road closed between Allington Street and Catherine Street from Sunday (27th). Diversions in place.

Woodgate: gas main work. 24-hour lane restrictions on Woodgate INBOUND lane from Tuesday (29th).

South Highfields area: parking scheme preparation work. Various restrictions in use off-peak as required from Monday (28th) for one week. Including: Highfield Street, Lincoln Street, Saxby Street, Prebend Street, Seymour Street, Hobart Street, College Street, Andover Street, Gotham Street, Severn Street, Tichborne Street and Brookhouse Street.

On-going work:

Hotel Street: paving work. Road closed between St Martins and the Market Place and various one-way orders in surrounding streets. Diversion in place along Grey Friars, Friar Lane and Hotel Street.

Causeway Lane: city centre improvement works. One-way towards Vaughan Way from East Bond Street, also East Bond Street one-way towards Causeway Lane.

Belvoir Street: city centre improvement works. Road closed from Rutland Street to Bowling Green Street.

Millstone Lane: city centre improvement works. Road closed from Pocklingtonâs Walk to Bowling Green Street.

Bowling Green Street: city centre improvement works. Reverse of one-way system between Bishop Street and Horsefair Street, with one-way systems on Stamford Street, Albion Street and Chatham Street suspended.

Braunstone Way: bridge works. 24-hour lane closures from Hinckley Road island, 2-way traffic maintained.

Causeway Lane: new storm sewer works. 24-hour lane restrictions as required.

Hastings Road: cabling works. Restrictions as required.

Granby Street: city centre improvement works. Road closed between Bishop Street and Halford Street, with various changes to restrictions in the area. Diversions in place.

Gipsy Lane: water main works. Various minor road closures as required in the area.

Bath Lane: carriageway works. Road closed between Welles Street and St. Augustineâs Road.

Upperton Road: rebuilding viaduct works. Lane closures and restrictions on and around Upperton Road and Swan Bridge, as required.

Please note that emergency situations may require work schedules to be changed at short notice.
