Beat surgeries travel around neighbourhood in North West Leicestershire

Neighbourhood officers for Breedon, Packington and Worthington in North West Leicestershire have announced a series of beat surgeries.

They will be using the Force ‘beat bus' to travel between five villages across their neighbourhood to offer local residents the chance to talk to them and discuss any concerns.

PC 1949 John Pearson and PCSO 6629 Aaron Bell will start at 10am in the morning on Main Street in Breedon on the Hill, at 11am they will move to Main Street in Worthington, at 12pm they'll arrive at Worthington Lane in Newbold before moving on to The Moorlands in Coleorton at 1.30pm and ending the day at the Village Hall in Packington at 2.30pm.  The next date is Sunday 1st March 2009.

PCSO Aaron Bell said; "We want to get out into our beat as often as we can so we thought it would be a good idea to travel to the five central villages for short visits on one day a month to give residents a chance to meet us, tell us how they are and what we can do for them.  So if you see us parked in any of villages please come along and have a chat."

They will be in the villages on;

  • Sunday 1st March 2009
  • Saturday 18th April 2009
  • Saturday 17th May 2009
  • Sunday 19th July 2009
  • Saturday 5th September 2009
  • Sunday 4th October 2009
  • Saturday 14th November 2009
  • Sunday 13th December 2009

If you are unable to attend the beat surgeries but would still like to speak to PC 1949 Pearson or PCSO 6629 Bell you can contact them via the Force website at http://www.leics.police.uk/../ or by calling Leicester (0116) 222 2222 and, when prompted, key in one of their collar numbers and leave a message.
