House broken into in Ashby

Officers are appealing for information following a burglary at a home in Ashby.

The incident happened between 8.30am and 3pm on Thursday March 19, 2009 when a house on Upper Packington Road was broken into.

Stolen from the property was a large amount of items including an Ipod, Dell laptop, computer games and jewellery.

PC Laurence Smith, who is investigating the incident, said: "We would like to speak to anyone who has any information regarding this incident.

"The burglars stole a blue sports bag which could have been used to transport the items from the property. Perhaps you saw someone leaving the address between these times with a number of items or this bag? If so, please get in touch."
