Police are appealing for information following recurring incidents of damage caused to a house in the Stocking Farm area.

Since the beginning of the year, a house on Potterton Road has been targeted 17 times after bricks and stones have been thrown at their windows causing significant damage.

PCSO Anne Timlock, who is investigating these incidents said: "We have been working very closely with the family to tackle this problem and we've increased patrols in the area in a bid to try and prevent this happening but these incidents are still ongoing.

"They are naturally distressed by what has been happening and we are urging anyway who has information regarding the people responsible to please contact the police.

"We would also like to appeal to nearby residents who may have witnessed these incidents or perhaps saw someone acting suspiciously in the area to please get in touch urgently.

"We can assure you any information will be treated with the utmost confidence and if people are fearful of giving their names, they can contact Crimestoppers anonymously."
