Police have charged three men for kidnap offences in connection with an incident that happened on Brandon Street.

The incident happened at around 3.15pm on Wednesday June 24.

The three men, aged 34, 28 and 25-years-old, have since been remanded to Leicester Crown Court until October 2009.

Five other men have also been arrested in connection with the incident, aged 35, 31, 28 and two aged 27-years old, and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
