Catering trailer stolen in Brooksby

Police are appealing for information after a catering trailer was stolen from outside Brooksby Melton College in Brooksby near Melton.

The victim, a 44-year-old woman, had left the trailer in the car park at 1.30pm on Friday November 27.

The incident happened at about 2pm on Saturday November 28, when thieves drove into the car park, attached the trailer to a 4x4 vehicle and drove off in the direction of Hoby.

The catering trailer is white with raised aluminium support.

The 4x4 vehicle has been described as black with a grey trim.

PC Paul Anderson, who is investigating the incident, said: The catering trailer is worth a substantial amount of money and the victim depends on it to run her business. I would appeal to anybody with any information about what happened to contact me.
