Police are appealing for witnesses after nine remote control cars were stolen from a shed in Leicester.

The incident happened between 11pm on Tuesday December 1 and 11.20am on Wednesday December 2, when it was discovered that a shed, in a back garden in Chettle Road, had been broken into.

Also taken the burglary was a fishing bait boat.

The remote control cars wereowned by the occupants son.

PCSO Gillian Edwards, from Beaumont Leys local policing unit, said: The victims son is very upset, he got a lot of enjoyment out of the cars and the burglary has left him very distressed.
