Appeal following indecent exposure in Leicester
Police are appealing for witnesses after receiving a report that a man indecently exposed himself in Aylestone Meadows, Leicester.
The incident happened at about 3.30pm on Monday January 18, when a woman, who entered the field from Evesham Road, spotted a man standing close to some bushes.
She continued to walk forward but turned around a short while later to find the man standing in the middle of the field where he indecently exposed himself.
The man is described as white, between 58 and 63 and aged in his mid twenties. He was wearing a white hooded top with the hood pulled up and a black drawstring bag on his back.
PC Ian Lee, the officer investigating the incident, said: We believe there were a number of people in the field at the time the man indecently exposed himself and we are appealing directly to these people to come forward.
The man was standing in the middle of the field and it would have still been light so anyone who was there should have been able to get a clear view of him. If you have any information about the incident or the man, please call us.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 2936 Ian Lee on Leicester (0116) 222 2222, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer's identification number 2936. Alternatively contact Crimestoppers, which is free* and anonymous on 0800 555 111.
* Please note, some mobile phone service providers may charge for this call.
